Section 498A of the IPC was made with the view to curb the dowry practice. The intention was good. The spirit of the law was subverted by the greedy wives and their relatives . Even today, dowry harassment are unabated. Particularly, in lower income and middle income groups that doesn't mean the higher income groups are sacrosanct. The real tormented wives do not file complaint against errant husbands(who could be either drunkard,womaniser,pickpocket, pimp etc.)the reason is either they are economically deprived or they don't have the backing of their parents or siblings. In most of the dowry cases, it is the ladies with avaricious mindset or fuelled by the so-called "progressive mindset" indulge in filing false complaints. Some years ago, a film actor family was hounded by this provision of the law. The actor,his parents,siblings and family well wishers were arrested just because of a false complaint filed under anti dowry charges. Later on, it was found out that the complainant i.e. Wife of the actor didn't disclose her earlier marriage which had happened during her college days .Her earlier marriage was intact as she didn't get divorce. ( doctrine of caveat emptor meaning "let the buyer beware). If it is proved before law that the complaint was false beyond doubt both complainant and abettors(in most cases,parents,siblings,ex-boyfriends,paramour) should also be booked.

When you are under immense pressure,and you may not be able to express it because people around you take advantage of your situation. Then, how would you extricate yourself from that situation? The answer is simple----- just SHIFT YOUR BURDEN.yes! By shifting the burden to your intended "person"/audience you by doing so you've created a safe passage from the current logjam. Just do this subtly so that people around you should not know that you are trying to get away from them. The people around claim themselves to be your "well-wishers"/thick friends".But,by this time you will be knowing their true colours(as they suck your resources). The communication should be simple. The intended "person"/audience should understand your predicament.Last but not the least, you get (your) desired answer from the intended "person"/audience. Afterall, we only live once.

Its ok to show that you are knowledgeable.That doesn't mean you have the right to rip off someone's work as your otwn work and proclaim yourself a Gyaani.

Ignorance is (not always ) bliss

We always assume ourselves to be great. Every small chance is used to belittle others. Particularly, only the known ones are " soft targets". Because they are the ones who can withstand our fury. As a result of our arrogance, we often fail to understand the reality. Contrary to the perception, our so called " soft targets" adapt to the newer environments and they start bullying us. It is our ignorance which had clouded our vision to see things as it was.......

Only action!

The opportunities won't come in one's life that easily. we ought to slug it out. In other words, with our grit we create opportunities. By manipulating one's resources,we can also create a right ambience in striking the much awaited "opportunity". One has to master the art of jugglery so that right "resource" could be deployed to fetch a right result. At times, one has to behave ruthless in order to get the desired result. After all, this is a dog-eats-dog world.No room for any compassion only action is required to achieve our target.

What to listen?

Decision making is a complex issue. We overreact when we are supposed to maintain silent. We remain silent but the situation demands reaction. In these two scenarios, we exhibit indecisiveness. Actually, we make decisions either logical or emotional. Some issues require both aspects. One should strike a middle path. Almost all emotional solutions come from heart. For a rationale person, emotional acts look silly. Whereas, logical conclusion comes from brain. In many a time, it might be a right approach but, again it loses its mass approval. Hence, before coming to decision making let us construct a bridge between heart and brain.

Time counts

When good times prevail everything looks hunky dory. If the very same acts are done under the bad spell even a small deed looks like a monster. Hence, your acts are not measured by your endeavour alone but, also by some unmanifest forces. Curse it on time.
