RELATIONSHIP: NOT TO HIT ROADBLOCK

The relationship between a mother and a child is unconditional. At least, from the mother's point of view. The children have their own priorities. As one grow we may not be as close as we were earlier. Then, this mind would yarn for a similar kind of relation with "greater access". Yeah! I mean marriage(s). You may get puzzled why I add (s) to the word marriage. Wait! WAIT! Bebe I 'll discuss it to the best of my knowledge. I hear the murmuring "What a bachelor can talk about marital life? HolD On Hold On! do you know something India's finest treatise on sex(Kama Sutra) is written by a bachelor/celebate, Vatsayanna .

The advantages of getting married are that your financial burden is shared . Because of "greater accessibility" you can enjoy life, and if one wishes, can have children. There is someone to care of you for the rest of your lie????/ Here I have a different opinion. Not all relationships are like that. As a married person, you are exempted from singing "feeling of being lonely".

DISADVANTAGES: Your various "ingress and egress" would either get shut down completely or for the time being. You have to make many compromises to save the newly acquired relation. Sometimes, you may have to forgo your principles.

The crux of the matter: You can sacrifice your pleasure to safeguard this relationship. But,......if there is no commitment from the partner. And the partner gauges the amount of commitment in a scale. For example, I had washed the kitchen yesterday now, it's your turn.
Ok even this can be adjusted but the dreaded thing is ..........

Wait for a day this episode is to be continued .........

City of flyovers..

Chennai city has the largest number of flyovers and subways. Traffic in the city move at a speed of 22km/hr which is reasonably good when you compare this data with other major cities of the country. Major bottlenecks have been cleared with the construction of flyovers (actually, it should have been done much earlier anyway, better late than never).

Inspite of so many flyovers , still, ther is no answer for the traffic jam at Panagal park junction. That locality houses many major jewellery marts and textile shops. The planners of the late 70's did not envisage the future growth of the city. As a result, the subway at duraiswamy Road is very narrow and it is unable to take the load of burgeoning traffic of the city. Situation is very similar at Madley road subway too. The approach roads to this subway is very narrow and that area would need removal of residential colonies Which is not feasible in today's condition.

What is meditation?

Everyone can see only a gross body. A very few can see the invisible portion i.e. subtle and subtler portion of the body. The one who has perceived that level will be known as a ''yogi''. As per our mythology , beyond this gross body and the mind there is a term called '' chaitanya'' In other words, it is nothing but consciousness . To visualise that stage we resort to meditation . As a first step, we need to calm our body and mind because a perturbed mind cannot see things clearly. Meditation helps us to stay cool irrespective of the situation. Sri Ramana Maharishi has elucidated this body, mind and consciousness in his book called tripura rahasya.

It is ineffable to describe the state of meditation . In my opinion, it is a self experience.

The effect of past karmas

The karmic theory is a unique in all aspects . One cannot find a concrete answer and logical support for karmas. For some, enlightenment takes place without any efforts from the seeker. But, in majority all efforts goes waste(actually, we don't understand the reality) .In reality, our efforts are either deposited or neutralisied just like we deposit money and issue cheques for our transactions.

To elucidate on this issue, For example, One day we start from our home very late but we would reach the office without any delay. Another day we start early in spite of that we would reach our destination very late.It is nothing but karmas. What other reasons could you attribute to it?

It is not just our efforts which decides our fate. There are so many factors attributing to a particular event . So, our motto is concentrate on work. Never expect any results.

What makes a seeker to get up from meditation?

It is the effect of past karmas because you've taken birth to discharge all your karmas. That is quite natural. As a result, when you ae in a deep meditation you are woken up by your past karmas. If your past karma is so strong you'll not be able to sit for meditation (you hardly think of meditation). The characters which seek pleasures in outer world will have vacillator y mind. Always remain restless and easily get depressed. Even to get a peaceful sleep, they seek tranquilizer . Again, this shows the effects of past karmas.

Find out a good negotiator..

When you are up against a pig-headed, impervious character for a "deal" and you are not in a position to deal with that character directly. because you like that "deal" but at the same time, you want to suppress certain things from the other person. What would you do? you'll definitely look out for a negotiator

How to hunt down a good negotiator? Particularly, in India it is very difficult to find out an exact negotiator because of heterogeneous nature.
Hypothetically, you've found out a negotiator but you still don't know will he or she close the "deal"....Once again I use the cliché RAM JAANE............

Never share your meal......

After the death of Sage parasurama 's mother . Parasurama vowed to annihilate the kshatriya race . (imagine a brahmin undertakes a terminator job which is quite outlandish by today's standard). In order to safeguard their children, kshatriya sent their sons and daughters to the brahmin households. At their homes, kshatriya children would look alike of brahmin children. But, the shrewd parasurama knew the knack of separating kshatriya's children. He would ask the brahmin lady to arrange for a meal and ask all children to have meals on a single platter.

Under any circumstances, brahmin would never share meal with anyone as it would pollute him/her. Through this trick sage Parasurama would continue with his "project".

If you analyse why they don't share meals with other is because it is considered as an unhygienic practice and that human saliva carries various bacteria and viruses. Remember, we live in the days of H1N1 virus . Every doctor stresses on personal hygiene .

When you compare today's Brahmin with the brahmins of that era . I'm sorry today's brahmins are brahmins for namesake. They could stoop to any level to achieve their "goals" in their life.

In today's world, majority brahmins have relinquished their rituals as they mix freely with outer world. The members from other community view the minority portion of the brahmin community (who try to ape their forefathers but not following exactly)with a ridicule . When others have changed why you with an outdated ideology?

Janam Janam Ka rishta????

In Hindu religion, (actually, religion is full of beliefs ) there is a belief about marriage if a man ties a knot to a woman which means they are continuing their previous births relationship. To be precise, they both were husband and wife for the last 6 births. (No reprieve for a man as he does the same wrong again and again) .

Then what about "affairs" which does not result in marriages (come on yaar, affairs are meant to be to used as "the best time pass"). You enjoy some one get married to someone. That someone might have had a similar "affair(s)" before the marriage. The marriage completes the mere formality. that's all.

Then why have a high expectations about the marriage!!!!!!!
