Festive Hangover

It is a first working day after diwali. No one is ready to give out their fullest efforts. Wherever you go you face a sort of "festive hangover". Be it Bank, post office or railway reservation centre. People are suffering from sluggishness. probably, they didn't take "deepavali marundhu" ( a home made preparation to offset the bad effects of sweets and savours).

In every brahmin household an old lady used to advice the younger ones in preparation of the deepavali marundhu. Gone are those days, these days all " perisu" are just glued to TV sets and gossiping about elopements that've taken place in the neighbhourhood. These days, elopements take place just like having a cuppa. The Indian government is reluctanct in amending the labour laws. the India Inc. wants "hire and fire " clause in the labour laws.

But, the girls in the neighbhourhood have adopted "hire and fire" policy by changing their partners at a . First week elopement, second week "jalsa", third week , change the partner very rapidly. (BTW, they carry morning after pill with every "jalsa" they have) otherwise, they get admitted in a corporate hospital and abort the unwanted pregnancy (at the same time, while returning home you should not disclose your abortion, instead, inform the neighbhourhood that you met with an "accident"). We really know whether it was an "accident" or an "incident"........AN UNFORCED EFFOR. The presence of LDL (BAD CHOLESTROL)in your body had propelled you to indulge in that act.
