The celebrities always write their autobiographies after their retirement. In order to spice up the book sales they make some "startling revelations" so that they can hog the limelight once again. Here being honest is a secondary issue the motto: make more money even after your retirement. And make sure don't become a scapegoat by your own disclosure.

In order to rescue that personality from further complications so-called intellectuals would hail him/her as a whistleblower and then everybody will forget . Ultimately,that personality would secretly receive a fat cheque from the publisher that's all. A portion will be doled out to some "spin doctors" who had taken part in the bookpublicity campaign.
