During childhood, we don't mind falling down. As we grow up we tend to have an extra precaution to keep our limb safe. Even when a child falls it will automatically get up unless any passer -by make a sympathisisng comments to the child then the ego in the child's mind flare up. The falling down is an art. In the martial arts, the giving blows to the opponents is not the only course taught to the pupils as you trade blows you should also learn how to receive blows otherwise, the fight will be tasteless and one-sided. When we know how to fall there is a mechanism in our body which gets activated which actually helps to retaliate our opponents.Never think the fall is the end of everything . After every fall a new technique is emerged to make you stronger.

Tyrst with destiny

After a gap of 8 years , I met my friend at a cinema hall we both exchanged pleasantries he said he is working with HSBC . Then " it must be frustrating to be in the banking sector in the days of recession" I said. No , he said. I got little irritated "what man HSBC is cutting head count worldwide you are saying everything fine " . "There is no recession in our business" he said. Then i went into the fundamental question once again "are you with HSBC I mean "HONG KONG SHANGHAI BANKING CORPORATION?" .No. I am working with Hotel Sarvanna Bhavan,Chennai (HSBC).So never haste your judgements before you analyse it properly. Before departing , he invited me to his restaurant to have a lunch and advised me to come to his restaurant in the middle of the week. As this writer have the habit of taking two unlimited meals at a time so their was no question of turning down the "offer". In order to "vaadha nibhana" I went to his restaurant I was waiting for the dishes to arrive. During the course of time, I cast my eyes over the pest control apparatus(rightly, installed above the sweet section) in the land of ahimsa how people "butcher" the insects that too, in a pure vegetarian restaurant . these insects knew very well that they will never "accomplish" their mission but who can overcome the desire . Similarly, Humans make mistakes we often get stuck in the traps laid by our adversaries without analysing our portentialities. that's why everyone should conduct SWOT analysis by themselves. Otherwise, we would curse the DESTINY.

I recently saw the hindi film cheeni kum very good movie indeed the big B played his part to his potential and actress Tabu gave away equal performance to match her co-star. now, let us ponder something on cheeni kum kind of relationship in a real life.

THEORY: The girl will find more secure in the hands of an elderly person. As the relationship is not confined to carnal pleasure it is beyond that say.... platonic love. 2008: The year most of us want to forget

The year started with "full" hopes and expectations. In the begining of the year itself stock market took the beating after a nearly 5 year bull run . The much hyped R-Power came as a cropper for investors at large. Then followed the much-awaited sub prime crisis which was brewing even before 2008. the entire banking system across US and the European countries . The oil price shot up $147 a barrel which made developing countries to renegotiate with their GDP growth. The main reason attributed to hike in oil prices were due to greedy wolves of wall street. the year also saw the record high of gold price because investing in gold was always seen as a hedging avenue under the inflationary conditions.
In the political arena, the world had witnessed some watershed particularly, the US voted for the first???? Afro-American to be the CEO of the world's powerful country(abraham lincon, andrew jackson,thomas jefferson calvin coolidge were born to inter mixed race but their birth story was hidden from the public domaindue to the question of legitamacy was involved) Closer Home, the world's only Hindu Rastra" turned into a republic. Another neighbor, Sri Lanka, waging the last war to inish off the rebels , which has been facing a civil war for the last 25 years.
In the sports section , India had won a gold medal after a gap of almost 30 years with alot of huff of puff (remember we are a nation of 110bn people almost 1/5 of the mankind). coming back to india's condition our intransigent neighbor, pakistan contiued with "hit and run" cases latest being mumbai carnage. with producing almost every evidence that country it seems that country's is in denial mode as I write this blog the two nuclear neighbors are mobilizing theirs armies on their border areas. War is not an option but, if that is the language your adversaries understand then, you ought to speak the language he better understands.
On the persaonal front it has been a mixed bag since i take every incident as an experience the almighty has taught me "kaduva sach" . As one zen master said don't expect better accept the life you will lead a happy life.

Recently, I was watching a programme on pet maintenance hosted by a vet. He was discussing about the merits and demerits of owning the " foreign" breeds as pets and in the second part of the series he was discussing about the local breeds. Of late,there has been a great demand for owning a mongrel as they are least susceptible to infections, diseases and low maintenance because they inherit characters of two different breeds. Sofar, so good. on seeing this programme one incident came to my mind that a holywood actress proposed bernard shaw i her proposal letter she said"if you and I get married we will have a child of yopur intelligence ad my beauty". for which bernard shaw replied " in case, we have a child your intelligence and my beauty what will happen".
