Do not consider bhagawad gita as a text for old people it is a treasure trove for the entire humanity.Every time you read you get a new angle to your life. if one looks carefully the place where the bahagawad gita was delivered it was on a battlefield. yes! every man's life is a battlefield what makes the person to get bogged down ? Not his age it is the past injury of life and anxiety over the future that makes him immobilise his present. you can never bring back the past treat it as an experience what is the future holds out for us?it is not in your hands so the god has given you the present enjoy it!
If one scrutinise the bhagawad picture one can understand the crux of the entire gita. see!five horses reined by a charioteer and the man seated in the chariot. here the five horses signifies our senses as the reins are held by the charioteer( krishna,paramathma) he neither held it hard nor loosening his grip over the reins. he just held it to show the life has to get to get on in its natural flow. the passenger in the chariot is jivatma(Arjuna represent mankind) the battlefield signifies the unpredictable nature of life . whenever the traveller (jivatma) ditheres there is omnipotent in the form of charioteer to correct the traveller.......that is the magic of bhagawad gita....
