Every coin has two sides....

Predominantly, our opinions are based on one-sided story. That too, we don't verify the inputs provided by the sources. We don't want to hear the other side of the story. We try to manipulate others with the available inputs. The movies play an important role in opinion formulation. A particular section of the society is portrayed as docile, non-retaliatory nature and that section can be subjected to any degree of torture.By watching the movie, what happens in the mind of the movie watcher is that every member of that section of the society is that of similar nature. Never ever generalize a group. Each one of us is unique. We live in a hurry hurry world then where is the time to hear the other side of the story? Point taken! ( in many a case, it is very difficult to get one-side of the story even if you try to hear other side of the story. The other side will not be forthcoming). After all, its a complex world and we are all programmed to have complex minds.

your aura says who you are?

As per yogic science, human body is governed body or chakras . Do you remember VIBGYOR? Yes ! All those colours are found in each one of the chakras. Any imbalance of energy in chakra is manifest as disease. Our karmic accumulation also creates imbalance of energy in chakras. All noble soul will have yellow aura around their physical body. Again, body is divided into three parts physical body, subtle body and subtler body. A normal person will have a white aura around his physical body(I.e.in a metaphysical state). The aura is not visible to your naked eye. A diseased person will have a dark aura. Not only him, all those who've involved in activities which are against the normal norms would have black aura. People, per se, are not bad. The circumstances push some of us to do unwarranted activities. Initially, the black aura will not manifest at all.Because that person may have inherited strong genes from their parents and he/she may be enjoying the benefits of their previous lives. Such persons would remain hale and hearty , till bank balance of good karma is exhausted. Once it is fully withdrawn, that person will come under the bad spell. That's why sages urged the people that if he/she can't do good deeds please desist from doing bad deeds. Now, tell me, are you reaping the benefits of good karma?

Sin Tax ok!!! why not kin Tax??

The Sin Tax on tobacco items have risen sharply. Considering the ill effects of the health and the extra burden on the state exchequer the semi annual budget has hiked the excise duty on tobacco items. Likewise, the central government should introduce a tax called kin tax. This will attract those people who are staying in their kin's house without any justification. In many a case, both host and guest(gate crashers) often forget the actual date of arrival. Both host and guests have been staying together for years In fact, these gate crashers slowly eat into the earnings and savings of the host. These gate crashers are otherwise called parasites. These people should be brought under kin tax and in case, they evade kin tax they should be booked under theft case since they erode the host's earnings and savings...

who's she? don't you remember?

Frankly speaking , I don't understand the logic behind addressing ships, aircrafts, trains as SHE? anything which moves is given a feminine pronoun. So,women always keep changing their places. In this blog, I will address this meter gauge EMU as she. Exactly a decade ago, she was phased out from her "service" because of uni gauge conversion programme initiated by the government of India. Till then, she was "running" FREELY from chennai Beach to Tambaram(in some cases , upto chengalpattu)and vice versa without any competition. Most of us "used " her service" to reach our destination. She was ruthless when anyone dared to take her head on. The result-----the confronted personality will be disfigured beyond recognition.Though, horns of the cattle (particularly, erumai had the ability to slow her down. These EMUs were manufactured by Toshibha Electric Company Ltd. Japan (there is a film lyrics" caargalai pol pen inamum kondavanai poi serum but she was posted in Madras, then, Chennai) Unlike her, some of her peers had "adjusted" to the ground reality and continuing their "services" in African nations. Let there be a EMU fashion parade,I am sure she will stand apart from the rest. Being out of service for almost a decade, her beauty remains intact. All broad gauge EMUs of her era have grown broader probably, they would fit into Russian railway network because of their broader tracks. Model wise, power wise, pick up wise she is far superior to other EMU prototypes of her era. She even earned a nickname called "Olli maravattai"(sleek centipede)as she negotiated the stretch between chetpet and Nungambakkam railway station. Her ravishing beauty turned curvaceous when she passed through that curve section. But, she is just standing elegantly inside the railway museum thinking of re-starting her "journey". Can she re-start her journey? But, where are the tracks?

Its a feast time....

"Never romanticize a stock" is a saying by the market experts. As long as a stock gives you profitable returns ,just stay with that and you can also prescribe it to your friends. Because their participation increases the bouyancy of the stock in the market. Don't stick to one counter (eventually, you will become a lovelorn)you visit as many counters as possible. Taste differently,a whole range of stocks are available like large caps, mid caps and small caps and you also have derivates so utilise this opportunity.life is short so enjoy it. The moment you smell the law of diminishing returns sets in exit the stock silently not even your friends should know about your exit strategy. Tell me,who would like to 'maintain' a non peforming stock? Everbody is dreaded about "maintenance". You never know when that stock will go back to good old days of yielding profitable returns. we only live once...

In depth scrutiny is required

It is your hard earned money which should not go waste. Whatever investments you make in your life don't jump into it without a proper investigation from your side. Nowadays,we get too much information which is really a big problem. One has to segregate right ones from the useless information. Your investment should be based on analytical findings. There is no room for emotions when it is the question of investment. Let your cerebral area slug it out. For a moment, let your heart take a back seat. The Japanese will always keep long term results in mind. Don't get carried away by "momentary " pleasures. Apply this analogy not only for financial investments, use it while "forging" human relationship as well. Then, you don't cry over spilt milk... After all, you only live once.....

Welcome judgement by SC

Section 498A of the IPC was made with the view to curb the dowry practice. The intention was good. The spirit of the law was subverted by the greedy wives and their relatives . Even today, dowry harassment are unabated. Particularly, in lower income and middle income groups that doesn't mean the higher income groups are sacrosanct. The real tormented wives do not file complaint against errant husbands(who could be either drunkard, womaniser, pickpocket, pimp etc.)the reason is either they are economically deprived or they don't have the backing of their parents or siblings. In most of the dowry cases, it is the ladies with avaricious mindset or fuelled by the so-called "progressive mindset" indulge in filing false complaints. Some years ago, a film actor family was hounded by this provision of the law. The actor, his parents, siblings and family well wishers were arrested just because of a false complaint filed under anti dowry charges. Later on, it was found out that the complainant i.e. Wife of the actor didn't disclose her earlier marriage which had happened during her college days .Her earlier marriage was intact as she didn't get divorce. ( doctrine of caveat emptor meaning "let the buyer beware). If it is proved before law that the complaint was false beyond doubt both complainant and abettors(in most cases,parents,siblings,ex-boyfriends,paramour) should also be booked.
